This guy I know is really sweet. He talks to me, and asks me questions like 'What do you have for homeowork?' or 'Have you heard of (Insert Singer's name here).' Today, he was sitting next to me singing (Not mushy or anything. Just really retarded songs,lol!), and he was trying to do impressions of different singers. He flirts with other girls, but he doesn't flirt with me. He also talks with other girls. I really like him, though. Is it all in my head that he likes me??? What do you think???

I'm in 8th grade. He's naturally funny, and plays the Guitar (if that helps any...don't know how it would...). I think he's really funny (I guess even when he's not trying to be) all the time.

Yes, he does like you! The fact that he talks to you and sits next to you is your first clue that he likes you. In fact, he's even interested enough to ask you about your homework. It sounds like he's trying to make conversation with you in general. Please don't answer his questions with just a "Yes," or a "No!" Try to keep the conversation going. Actually, he may be flirting with you and you don't even know it. Isn't flirting with a girl usually mean talking to a girl and asking her questions and etc. Don't worry about him talking to other girls, you're probably real sensitive to that right now because you do like him. Try to be a bit amused and let him know that you think he's funny when he impersonates different singers, that is if he means to be funny, or tell him how he does well at impersonating singers if he is serious. Let him know that you want him to be your friend, which you do by showing an interest in what he does in his life. Ask him about his homework and what subjects he likes, or dislikes. Try to talk to him as you would a girlfriend that you feel comfortable with, even though it's hard to do when you are attracted to a guy. You can do it. Try to not think about yourself and how you're coming across because that will make you self-conscious. Think about him and reach out to him by showing that would like to know more about what he likes, does, and etc. I'd like to know how it turns out. You can do it!

You say that he's naturally funny and plays the guitar, well, that does say something about him. Tell him that you would like to learn the guitar, or something like that. When he's funny, don't be afraid to laugh, let him know that you enjoy his company. Good luck!

If he is your friend and you like him,but dont want to look stupid. start kicking it with him more often not just in school. Ask him to the movies or walk at the mall or just kick back at your house or the park.If your scared then do these things as a group with other friends. Good luck on your quest.

How old are you? He might just be a total flirt or just really goofy! We girls do tend to imagine that guys like us when maybe they're just acting stupid because...well they are! Just don't get into thinking that if YOU like him, then no one else can, because then you'll be really hurt if you find out he likes someone else. He could make a really good friend though! =D
