When I tee off, my ball almost ALWAYS swerves to the right. How do I get my shot straight?

More then likely you are simply hitting the ball with an open clubface.

Now there are several other reasons for this but you indicate that you are hitting straight right and not slicing. One of the reasons are a poor weight shift, meaning your body is getting to far ahead of your arms causing a push to the right.

A quick fix would be to assure not to lean or sway back in the backswing, make a turn as if you were standing in a barrell.

Your shot direction boils down to two factors. Your swing path, which is the direction your club is swung, and the angle of the club face TO that swing path. The face of your club is open at impact, that can be caused by a number of other things, and not seeing your swing, it's hard to say for sure, but going by most amateurs, your probably not releasing on time. This means your not turning your wrist in time to put the face of the club on the ball squarely. try rotating your hands back from the start then roll them through to the top of your swing. If you have a problem understanding what I put here, write me a note and I'll explain it a different way. Your best bet that always works is to go see your local PGA Professional and they will square you away very quickly.

Your swing passes through the ball from the outside in.
it should pass straight thru.

You also probably are leaving your club face open at impact.

1. Pay a Pro alot of money.

2. Subscribe to two of the big golf magazines for one year. If you do you can re-read this answer when you understand what it means.

I am assuming that you are a right handed golfer as I give this answer. When you swing the club make sure that your right arm remains straight when it is fully extended (at the point when the club meets the ball). People have a tendancy to draw their right arm upwards at the point of ball contact as if they are playing baseball. But if you allow your arm to remain straight down at the point of contact and then only allowing your elbow to bend to finish the follow through, your balls will go much straighter.

If you are serious about playing get some lessons from a qualified teacher. I don't know why this is such a thing with people just starting to play. Even the pros have teachers.
