Depends on state. In Ca its a year of no support and no contact. Check adoption laws for your state. My boyfriend is gonna adopt my son after we are married and we were checking different options we had and claiming abandonment was one of them.

I believe it's a year with no contact or child support. I can't swear to that because it may depend on the state you live in. If you're trying to have a child adopted by a new spouse, HERE...you must put an ad in the paper, looking for the missing parent for a time. If you get no response, then you can legally file for the child's adoption by the new parent.

it quite is not toddler abandonment. And it quite is in basic terms been 4 months. how lots money do you get, besides, 11 grand in dues because of the fact that August. Wow. solid luck. Even a nasty father is a father in the eyes of a court docket.
