when my dog goes poop it is all dry, kinda like dirt. when i go to pick it up it just crumbles like dirt that was rolled up when it was mud and dried. this just started happening a day or two ago.

he is getting enough water and his diet hasnt changed. and it is not dirt.

In addition to what the others have said, your dog is probably dehydrated, but keep in mind that if he/she is passing hard dry stool that there may be more hard dry stool stuck inside, since it can be hard to pass....This can lead to bowel obstructions in humans I dont imagine its different for dogs.......

It sounds like your dog may be de-hydrated. Best to pop him/her down to the vet for a check up - just to be on the safe side.

Did you change foods recently? Is e drinking enough water?

there are 2 things you should do...
call your vet and ask her/him what to do or just change her/his diet.
