Nope. According to this teen BMI thing- http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/ -, he's at a healthy weight. Maybe he could weight a tad more, but basically, he's at a good weight.

Not every girl is going to be shaped like what-her-name. I am unable to comprehend how a 15 year old has been able to avoid finding out about BMI. Profound ignorance. Your BMI is in the 45% range.. that means 55% of girls your age and height are heavier than you. You are in the middle of the "just right" zone. You need to find some friends who are not idiots. Your friends do too. This is facts. Opinions you have already heard.

He is probably considered just average or even underweight for his age. I'm 5'7 and I weigh 123 pounds and considered under weight, but I'm also 25 so it could be different.

If anything, I'd think he was UNDERweight. At the very least, he certainly doesn't need to LOSE any weight.

I would say yes only because the average weight for someone 5'2 is 90. think of what 5'5 woulod be. probobly like 95. but I am 5'2 and only 80 pounds! lol

No He is underweight. at 5'5 you should weigh 135 pounds. He has no muscle weight that is why he is underweight.
