Murad has an excellent line of products. They offer an oil-free moisturizer that's great at moisturizing yet won't clog pores. They also have a serum that you put on top of your moisturizer that helps the moisturizer penetrate your skin better. I also recommend that you exfoliate once a week to get rid of the dead skin. St. Ives has good exfoliating scrubs that are really inexpensive. And once a month due a peel so the skin that the exfoliator didn't remove, the peel will. Neostrata and Murad make good ones. Well good luck to you and your skin!!! :)

The best moisturizer in the world is Aloe Vera gel from the plant. Just wash your face with the best all-natural herbal soap you can find. Then pat your face dry(rubbing causes facial scarring). Then cut off about a two inch wide by two inch long piece of the plant and peel back the sides and apply the gel before you go to bed. Let it dry and stay on your face all night. Wash you face in the morning with the herbal soap and pat dry. Go about your normal routine until bedtime, then do the same thing you did the night before with the herbal soap and aloe vera gel. Do this forever. Your face will look younger and healthier than everyone around you and you will marvel at the results. Aloe Vera gel from the plant is used to remove facial powders and other clotting agents that soap doesn't remove. It is also used in hospitals all over this country and other countries on people who have extensive burn scarring. It eases the pain of burns and heals up the scarring. Good fortune to you always.

Stay away from petroleum based products like Vaseline and Eucerin. Check the lables anything with alcohol or petroleum including glycerine is bad news. Try your local natural foods market or health food store and check out their products. Many folks with very dry skin are using things that keep it dry, so they can sell more product! Drink a lot of water and take B vitamins and Vitamin E. All of these things help the skin. There are many ways to rehydrate...keep searching until you find what is right for you.
