I know you can download CS2 on the web free but lack the knowledge to do it. What are torrents. Is this easy enough. The tech. at the apple store told me about it.

if you lack the knowledge to download it off the web you stand no chance of understanding what's going on with bittorrent.

just because you want it free doesn't mean it's legal, apple must be thrilled that the 'tech at the apple store' is telling you to go download photoshop off bittorrent instead of buying it.

Downloading it for free is illegal. Its a commercial software, so you have to buy it

If you are strapped for cash, and you are enrolled in school there are academic versions you can purchase:

You just have to provide proof that you are indeed in school (course schedule)

Oh, and I would make sure you let the store manager of that Mac place, to let them know that their employees are adovacating piracy.
