Cut out eating as much red meat and pork as you can. Start eating more steamed or stir-fried in extra virgin olive oil lots of fresh vegetables and eat raw vegetables in salads. Eat more fresh fruits and drink more fresh fruit juices. Stop eating junk foods and drinking sodas. Drink lots of pure water from the bottles, not the ones with minerals added, just pure water. Exercise by walking at least, very minimum two miles every day. Do crunches and donkey calf raises. These exercises will tighten up not only your belly but your lower belly too. Happy times are coming, keep up the vegetables, fruits and exercise and you will soon be the envy of everyone around you.

A great way to get rid of belly fat is pilates, it targets your stomache and I find it works really well and is actually pretty fun.

genetics determine where fat is stored in our bodies
so you can't lose weight from a certain area by exercising
but you can tone it
to lose fat from your abdomen you have to do some cardio workout most days of the week ( e.g. jogging , swimming, walking, jumping rope, dancing, and skiing),
toning your body by weight training and/or squats, push ups, and sit ups can help in building muscle and losing weight even while resting as well as looking good . but to notice the results you need to lose the fat through dieting and cardio.
you can also quit drinking sodas as well as milk if you have lactose intolerance and go for yogurt and soy milk for example to avoid bloating as well as artificial sweeteners.
this all can be achieved through a registered dietitian and trainer
summary: to lose belly fat you have to lose the fat first with diet +exercise

tip: always suck your tummy in and try to keep your back straight it's similar to doing sit ups while walking/ standing / jogging and will help more on the long run
good luck
