Maple syrup has a wonderful taste, especially on pancakes and waffles. My grandma used to make Cinnamon rolls drenched with maple syrup and add nuts on top.

My husband is very fond of real maple syrup on pancakes and mixes it with baked beans. My daughter only likes the Log Cabin type maple syrup stuff.

I like the difference between the sweet syrup and the salt of the melted butter. It also makes the inside of the waffle soft and chewy while the outside is still crunchy.

The smell from fresh maple syrup is by far orgasmic. ok, maybe not that far but you get the point. Ha-ha

The sweetness that is not too much for breakfast but just sweet enough!
The smell, specialy when heated a little!
