Well you've got your name going for you. Arisa is a unique one that attracts attention.
Build up your resume. Don't get discouraged. Rejection in the name of the game. Danny DeVito auditioned like 90 times before scoring a role. Try out for commercials. Local ones are good.
Set goals for yourself. Short term and long term ones. www.43things.com
Good luck!

1. Stay in good health. A sick actor is not much good to anyone, least of all herself.
2. Exercise your memory. Memorize some soliloquys, monologues, sonnets, which you can pull out if you need to for those unplanned auditions, which DO happen, and WILL happen. Be prepared.
3. Learn how to make yourself cry. Not easy to cry "on demand."
4. Learn how to laugh. Same. Is very useful for when you have the blues.
5. If you are English, and even if you are not, know your Shakespeare.
6. Don't think you can learn a British accent just because you watch or listen to PBS or NPR. Study your accents.
7. Get a little book, and don't confuse it with your little telephone number book. Write down the names and contact info for every director, every producer, every talent scout, every casting company. Keep a Rolodex or some PDA like a Blackberry or Palm, with this info updated every month. People do move around, so check this with your computer search engines on a regular basis.
8. Find an agent YOU CAN TRUST. Don't choose the first one who comes around. A good agent is more important to an actress than her fiancée. No joke.
9. Remember that you can be the best, but don't take anything for granted, honey. Do NOT get a big head. It will make it harder to walk, for one.
10. Develop a sense of humor.
11. Learn to be patient.
12. Know that panty hose (nylons) help keep the varicose veins in order. Even the infantry men know that secret.
13. Keep your politics to yourself, until you have made your SECOND million.
14. Subscribe to Equity.
15. Join the actors' union.
16. Develop a second and third skill, so you won't be relegated to working as a waitress. Of course, if you like waitressing, then by all means, have at it. Waitressing in the USA is an endangered profession. There are very few really good waitresses, and even less good waiters.
17. Know how to fend off molesters and papparazzi. I recommend judo or aikido. Practice. Don't think because you have a black belt you are super woman. Even black belts have their bad days.
18. Do not waste your money. Invest wisely. Be frugal, until you make your THIRD million.
19. Practice safe sex. And better yet, abstain till you've bought your first house and got your black belt.
20. Keep a thing of lip gloss or lip protector in every coat pocket and in every vehicle you have. (Bikes too).
21. Never, and I mean, NEVER, give up. You go grrl. YOU GO!!!

TAKE EVERY CHANCE YOU'VE GOT. Every little thing you do will help boost your chance of getting into a great acting college which is the best start to any career. If an audition for a comercial pops up do it. School play? Do it! Try out. It can't hurt, only help!

Get an agent. The cost would probably be worth it since you'll be gaining contacts and getting an "in".
Good luck!
