Everyone has a very different body, but healing is not FULLY done for over 6+ months for most people. It might seem healed, there might not be pus or pain, but often it isn't done healing on the inside. Generally care should be taken with all piercings for the duration you have them in your body. Since there is no magic number or way to know for sure if its fully healed, don't rush into changing jewelry or leaving it out for long periods of time.
Initial healing is done after 2-3 months. This means that the fistula (tube of flesh inside the piercing) is starting to form and at this point you have decreased risk for infections and serious issues such as migration (though it could happen at any time, migration is most common in the first 4 months of having a navel piercing). That can vary from person to person, so I wouldn't swear on a Bible on that one.
My jewelry in my first navel piercing was left in place for 1.5 years, I didn't feel the need to change it. I then added an inverse navel which healed at about 8 months. Shortly after that, I did 4 more navel piercings (done at the same time) and they took a year to heal completely.

Mine took about 7 months to heal completely. I still have a hard time putting back in after leaving the piercing out for a while and I got pierced over 4 years ago!

It will heal up within 2 weeks during the normal course of time but if you take a double dose of vit b complex every day it will reduce your healing time drastically.......these kind of superficial open wound can irritate a lot so the faster they heal the better. Vit b complex is not harmful in a double dose as it is water soluble and doesnt get stored in the body

it usually takes 3 to 4 months to heal. but it is not uncommom for them to take a complete year to FULLY heal. mine is 5 months old now and is stil healing. it takes so long to heal because there is alot of action in the area (alot of twisting and bending) causing a longer duration for healing. my is still getting the jewelry cruty though. thats how i know its till healing lolol but is been 5 months now and i love it!

It take about a month I think. I had mine in for a few weeks, and it started to heal wrong, so I took it out.
I guess thats what I get for piercing it myself.
