I haven't seen a can of Pepsi since....well, I can't remember? Are they still Coke's biggest competitor?

Well actually, I've never really looked for it in a convenience store. I live near Niagara Falls, Ontario. I guess I ask the question because I never see anyone drinking Pepsi anymore and don't see the advertisements as I do Coke.

Pepsi is still around. Instead of getting in a foot race with Coke for soda pop domination, Pepsi diversified; next time your in a fast food place, look to see what type of soda they have. If its Pepsi, more than likely they own entire restaurant chain. Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, as well as some snack foods like Frito Lay. Coke may own the soda market but Pepsi probably owns everything else your eating.

Where are you at, geographically-wise? Some areas have limited supplies of pepsi due to contract negotiations with Coke. Most office buildings, schools, Public buildings, even hospitals have a contract with Coke that effectively locks out the competition (Pepsi). Coke is a HUGE seller of soft drinks overseas. Try finding a Pepsi in Africa or Europe. They never heard of the stuff.
Fortunately, I live in an area where soft drinks are alive and well. Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper. It's all here.

I like Pepsi Max for several reasons, one being the larger sized plastic bottles - 16.9 oz - same as Coke Zero. Either one, I cannot say I find is inferior in any way from the other. My observation lately is "I cannot find Pepsi Max" anymore at my Publix Grocery and haven't seen any in the last few weeks. They carry regular and diet Pepsi but no "Max" ? What gives ? I had heard rumors that various soda mfgs were going to change the sweeteners and do away with Aspartame. Maybe that is the reason, they are changing the formulas and soon will be re-releasing it ? Somebody who might know, plse reply.

I think Pepsi got beat up by Red Bull or something. Coke is better anyways. It mat depend on where you live. Some places dont sell Pepsi products.

I know for both my university and my workplace, they have exclusive contracts with Coca Cola to ONLY sell their products in the vending machines, dining areas and/or convenience stores. Perhaps the stores in your area did the same thing. It sucks because I LOVE Wild Cherry Pepsi, but it's like meh, what can you do? Losing all of that money probably cut their budget for advertising too, which is likely why we don't see as many advertisements.
