Those might not be my exact choices for punishments, but yes, there would be some pretty severe consequences for lying and changing grades.

wow, sounds like this is coming from a sore 15 yr old son.

first of all, changing a grade is lying. you are trying to give yourself credit for something you didnt earn. im guessing you changed an F to a B or something. thats a big deal. failing is a big deal. if you changed like a B to a B+, that punishments a little harsh. but look on the bright side, you can work on bringing that grade up while you cant do anything fun...

I will agree this sound like it is coming from a 15 year old with a sore butt. I also agree with the punishment. I would take away phone too though, and outside privileges.

A better question might be how much character growth will your child gain if you don't stand for what is right and provide some discipline. Hopefully the goal is for this child to grow and there is no worthwhile growth without hardship and discipline in humans.

first - find out whether he is lying to you or not- he might simply be working harder. belt is a bit harsh, but the other punishments seem fine

best thing to do- talk to him.

Yah, you should punish him cause if you don't do it now he'll keep lying about stuff as important as a report card.....

Absolutely - your punishment sounds about right to me. Also no phone.
