These are not 5 and 6 year old kids. These kids are 12 and 14 years old. Now Iam merely saying that to go to someones home and eat 4 to 5 boxes of cereal in a weekend with no reguard for the other 3 teenagers that actually live in the house is rude. It's not just the cereal it's what ever is there IT'S LIKE THE TAZ MAMIA DEVIL spins threw my house when they come over I have found sandwiches with one bit taken out of them in the garage whole glasses of milk just sitting a toilet full of cereal like they made the bowl and just poured it in the toliet.water bottles with maybe three sips taken out of it. I cook a meal and oh Daddy I don't want that I want the pizza in the frezzer or I want a tuckey sanwich silly stuff. The cereal was just the tip of the Ice burg. No I'm not A wicked step mother I just see gouching, and greedyness going on and my husband does not.If we did not have the agreement that we have I would not be bitching I'am responsible for the grocery bill and 1500.00 a month 4

I see Cereal is not the problem Attitude is. You need to do 2 things maybe 3.

1. I know it's tuff and you want to be their friend and you want them to like you but you are still the parent. You have to treat them the same way you would treat those that are your kids. You make the rules in your house not them.... PERIOD

2. You should cook one meal for dinner, they have the choise to eat it or not. The other things that they really want are for lunch the next day. They all eat the same thing, the seperate orders end today.

3. You should ask your husband to chip in a few bucks for his kids if their additional mouths are a strain on you original arrangement/budget.

Good luck

Only buy 2 boxes. Once they are gone they are gone. Also have this is what cooked rule. They don't want it they don't eat till the next meal. it works wonders.

It sounds like they are spoiled and undisciplined. Let your husband know what is going on and when he complains about the grocery bill, remind him of the situation.

what a challenge!!

"God is a present help in time of trouble". I pray God will give you wisdom and strength.... that He would show you what to do and how to do it.

God bless!!
