My husband wants salad as a side for dinner tonight, but I don't know what to make as a main dish. What goes good with salad?Is there a web site you can go to where it will amke a meal for you?

You could make anything really. Red meat, chicken, pork. Or how about a pasta bake? Crusty bread and salads always go well with pasta of any kind!

don't serve the salad as a side, make it the main course! Either do a chef salad or a taco salad or a pasta salad. That way it's quick and easy and he gets his salad tonight

If you are looking for something quick and easy...how about serving that side salad with a steak sandwich?? You can use ribeye or minute steaks, and serve with buttery Texas garlic toast. A great combination!!

Grill chicken breast, slice it, place on top of the salad for a main dish.

Well, where I am it is almost 6:3o pm /// I do not know where you are located, but you could do a steak and some mashed potatoes in half an hour. Would that do?
