I hear from so many girls that that when they break up with their bf and want to be friends and say they want it to work they are stringing them along. How do i know when to stop tryin for my ex that i dated for 3 years we been broken up 2 months. What i hear most girls are the same

You stop trying immediately. And as I stated on your other question...not all girls are the same!!!! Let her live her life. If she misses you, she will come back to you. So just dont bother being friends. Friends straight after a break up almost NEVER works out that well. One side is always miserable while the other side is very annoyed at their misery.

I have never actually wanted to get back together with any of my ex's. I'm not sure who you got your info from. I would move on now...sorry!

stop talking to him and if he doesnt call or seems concerned then hes moved on. find someone else. good luck.
