The coolest ad campaign of the Seventies. The Bear that inspired The Fonz (no, really). The drink that stripped paint. "It's frothy man" Cresta is the answer.
It was a "soft drink" that could not quench a thirst?

CRESTA (1960-80s)
wow this far outlasted the drink in public memory. a cool polar bear in shades, hehehe, (a cross between the more debonair Glacier Mints bear and Den Hegarty) was sent into ecstasy after one taste of this over-sugary, over-foamy beverage of various flavours. It's frothy, man!
stopped in the 80`s era of music, yet up and coming MTV though the unfortunate Polar Bears still got it.
The five Polar Bear Nations in which the bears are found include the U.S. (Alaska), Canada, Russia, Denmark (Greenland), and Norway.
p.s. Polar bears do not live in the Southern Hemisphere as... well It aint Frothy, down there man!... no penguin sodas I guess?

Wow - Cresta. I used to get that from the ice cream van and it used to be my mums favourite juice too (probably because of the cool polar bear).
