I am not a cook by any means but my mom is a wonderful cook and she keeps hers in the freezer, and I must say I have never heard any complaints a/b her pecan pie so maybe that's a good way to store them!

Had I been quicker to answer this question, I would have said exactly what Sue L said. If they are in the shell store them in a cool dry place, if they are shelled, store them in the freezer in a air tight bag or container.

PS I think Sue should get best answer for this question, she was quick to the draw and gave you great advice.
