For me, it's easier. I'm a pretty confident fella in OTHER areas. Once I'm face to face I can say what's on my mind. But, that initial ASK part for me seems hard. lol I don't get the right signals. Or, I get the signals but they're rejection. Often the opposite sex plays games and I'm not into playing games or just lazy. lol

Its different. I don't know what to say about myself on a date that she hasn't already read on my myspace or wherever. It has definitely shifted the dynamic, only time will tell which way it has shifted.

Not necessarily. Dating can be a very complex thing - you're right that women have far more OFFRERS and opportunities on the market but establishing the relationhip they want can still be a difficult thing. As for you, most of us don't like overweight women so you have a whole niche open for you in the market. You just need to got out, to TRY and meet some women I gurantee if you could get rid of social anziety, loosen up and gain some confidence you could land a girlfriend within a matter of months. Dating is not necessarily easier, *finding* a date is easier for a woman, but that's only part of the game.

I think that the internet made dating easier because some people are not as confident in person as they are behind the screen but you also have to be careful for the weird people

Harder! people move faster. Everyone lies about who they are and what they want to seem appealing. Men are looking for sluts women are looking for an imaginary prince. It's worsens the whole thing where men would walk up to womne and say hi. and just make conversation!

Probably easier. I met lots of guys from the internet when I was into that type of thing (like before I met my husband) and my husband and i actually met online. I kissed an awful lot of frogs before I met my prince, though!

there is more toads you have to weed out....so you get disheartened and tend to want to just not date. Then you have to deal with guys who portray themselves one way and end up being another. UGH!
Basically you have to go on 15 dates...to just meet one nice guy.
I'm old fashion....I'm all about chemistry and would rather meet someone face to face than over internet.

It depends. If you're looking for hoes, then it's easy. But if your looking for a woman, it's going to take awhile. Try getting out and "Accidentally bump" into them. Makes room for conversation.
