egg? Do you have any omlet recpies you would like to share using any kind of eggs but not buzzard eggs,they stink like crazy & their yoke is orange,taste is ok but i dont want another one unless its a have to case but my girlfriend likes them but she dont know where they came from,serve them with some smoked bacon , stir fried potatoes,and thick toast,and your favorite jelly w/butter and some hot coffee..

4 OMELETS TOTAL= 4 PEOPLE(ostrich egg)

REC PIES: Before you crack eggs, Start heating up pan then saltie onion, bell-peppers, tomato, add slices of lunch meat of your choice.
COOK:Now start cracking your eggs, add saltie to egg, add a 1/4 of milk add to eggs ( milk is 4 fluffiness ) add seasoning.

Make omelet and add Swiss Cheese!

I wouldn't advertise the fact that you were eating Buzzard eggs if I were you. They're protected birds. As to Ostrich, yes I've eaten farmed Ostrich meat. Very good and very lean, tastes a bit like beefy chicken. We have an Ostrich farm about 12 miles from where I live.

ostrich meat is great. it's lean and it's like most red meat, and reasonably healthy due to low fat saturation. (compared to some other red meat). However, ostrich eggs are really awful. I've had advocaat made from ostrich eggs. (it's a kind of egg-based liquer). I nearly threw up.

1 ostrich egg = 2 dozen chicken eggs by volume, so I reckon you could make at least 15 good omelettes with 1 Ostrich egg

I have not eaten ostrich but we farm emu meet in Australia - its a bit gamey. A lot of art work is done with emu eggs but not eating them.

Ostrich meat is gorgeous, it had a taste all of its own, unlike anything I had tasted before.
