A guy that likes me, asked me to the dance on Friday. He is a little nerdy, and I am not really sure if I like him like that, or just as a friend.
What should I do?

It never hurts to try. Go with him and you might end up having a really good time. Nerdy guys can actually be really funny. Tell him that you're interested in going to the dance with him just as friends. If you do have a good time you might develop an interest in him later. It's always easier to start with being friends and go from there than to start with liking each other and trying to be friends after when you realize you don't actually like him.

Hey. What are you more afraid of, people making fun of you, or hurting his feelings. I mean if people were your real friends then they shouldn't care who your dancing with as long as you like him and you're happy. And how are you gonna know how much or even if you like him unless you give him a chance. But it your More worried about hurting his feelings let him know before hand that this is just as friends and you don't want to hurt him by having him think it's anything more. Tell him you'd rather have him as a friend then nothing at all.

Well if you want to go to the dance go on, you don't have to marry him...But if you don't want the person to get the wrong idea tell him up front...maybe under the little nerdy he is a great guy.....good luck

Well----that depends---if you dont think anyone else will ask you to the dance you should accept and go----be nice to him---one can never have too many friends---you just might find you had a really great time-----would you rather stay home?

Don't feel bad bc ur turning him down. Honestly, if you go with him will you have a good time? If you get along with him and he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable then be up front with him. Agree to go under the condition that ya'll are friends. Or just go with your bf/girlfriend and tell him it's girls night out...no boys allowed. =)

let him know ur going with him as a friend...or don't even say anything. just go and if he trys to pull a move on u..then let him know you don't see him that way, that you'd rather be friends if it were okay with him.
