why did he do this?

there is this guy, that likes me. he told me that he wants me to be his gf. but I told him that I need some time to think about this. and he promised to wait for me. but then he would call my friend (I don't know how he knows her #)and askes her to call me and talk to me about him, and ask me what am I gonna say yes or no. and I told my friend to tell him to wait just like he said he will. and I told my friend that I don't want her in this. and she said ok I'm out of this then. one day he AIMs me and tells me to not pay attention to any other guys. but he didn't tell me that its him. I asked him who is this and he was like u don't need to know.but I know that its him. why do u think he did this? was he thinking that there is some other guy?thanks for helping

sounds to me like he really wants to go out with you - his problem is that he's not v experienced at all this and probably feeling a bit insecure.

he's doing what he can to try and find out what's going on in your head and to see where he stands.

if you like him and the above is true i'd give him the benefit of the doubt and go out with him - have fun and take things at your own pace but reassure him and make sure you're ultra honest.

just my opionion - if it makes sense might be right!!!!

he probably really likes you and is scared that there is someone else because he might think that you are taking too long to make up your mind. guys are sometimes impatient. but i think he is just worried.
