The Church, the Government, all have knowledge of things they keep from
us. They think we're too dumb to understand them and we will panic!
But isn't the opposite true? If we don't find out what's really going on
on our world, that's what will create panic?

If you ever heard of the critical mass conciousness, you will know that they keep us out of the dark for our own sake. As when the information is leaked, and lets say everyone is thinking about it and when a certain number of people forcussing on the subject at a certain time is hit, it will send an unwanted awareness and unseen energy or power to attract the "other beings". This is when they will come into attack as we "invite" them. The govt merely doesn't want so much people to keep thinking about it and to create this "critical mass conciousness".

Personal experience:
So much for the psychic power. There was once that a hornet flew into our classroom and frightened everyone for nearly an hour when my teacher said "don't panic, as the insect can actually sense our fear and thus attack us, but to remain silence and focus on it that it WILL fly out, com'on lets think together and create this energy". At first we were skepticle but when we tried, it really flew out! superbly amazing.

It's all about CONTROL. and as far as christianity goes, I think the catholic church is the worst one regarding keeping people in the dark. they have hundreds of pre-jesus, pre-reformation documents that they keep secret. Why? whats in them? why are they so threatened by them? And Im not talking dan brown. Remember that the Bible we have today was compiled by several councils of preists, catholic priests I might add. They picked and chose what gospels to include. The rest are hidden or in the apocrafilia. They gospels that WERE left out were the ones that Humanized Jesus. Why was that? Did you know that Mary Magdalen really did write a Gospel? so Did Mary Jesus' mother. why dont we use those too? bottom line, the bible is patriarchical. Women's oppinion didnt matter then. We are we propagating that? shouldnt all gospels be given equal footing?

I think they look at it this way. They tell people on a need to know basis...and I guess they don't feel we need to know. HOWEVER, this may be a bad thing. But, WE know we are living in the 'end times' right now. So, I'm certain the Holy Spirit will give us advance warning...our inner man...and we will know what to do and where to go. When you pray...and then sit very quietly, God will speak to you. You may think it's your own mind, but the Holy Spirit is doing the translating so you can, in your human mentality, understand.

most people are not left in the dark, they just refuse to see the light...

And I said MOST not ALL.

But there are things people dont tell us, whether it is because they know we are not ready for it or because they dont want to put us in more of a panic than we would be if in the dark, who will ever know.

Besides, curiosity killed the cat, right?

haha.

Because ignorance is bliss.

In "The Matrix", Morpheus said that there was a rule to not "Free a Mind" once it has reached a certain age because that mind cannot handle the truth.

Which means that unless one has "The Mind" or the heart of a child that is "willing" to believe, one cannot receive the truth no matter how obvious or logical it is.

In the true story of the rich man and Lazarus, the rich man found himself in hell and asked Abraham (who was on the opposite side of hell) to send someone to warn his family...

This is the story...

Luke 16:19-31

"There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead."

Moses and the prophets is in reference to the Holy Scriptures, and Christ rose from the dead...

How many people do you think do not believe in the truth of either?

It is sad, you can't make everyone happy. People on here talk about how they get mad because religious people try sticking their info in their face when they don't want it.
Some say they get to much and others say they don't get enough. I think it is just another one of those things.
