The only way that sitting in hot water can make you lose weight is if otherwise you would be stuffing food into your face. If you are soaking instead of eating then you could be losing weight. Otherwise it has nothing to do with weight loss.

No, anything you would lose would be water weight and as soon as you drink something the weight will come back. Jacuzzi are good to ease muscle soreness or just relax after a workout

I doubt it, weight just doesn't come off in easy or miraculous ways, the only way to burn fat is exercising and dieting. It sure would be nice if a simple jacuzzi bath would do the trick...

Do better than what your doing now. Salads are reliable.

water weight from sweating (yes, you sweat in hot water)
but you gain it back when you drink.
Don't lose too much water weight, and don't drink excessive alcohol while in the hot water, its really bad for you.
Sitting in hot water for too long can make the small blood vessels in your legs break, exaggerating spider veins.

Makes you lose water weight. If you sweat, that's weight loss, and when you're in water you get dehydrated.
