I am trying to find a chocolate fondue fountain to give to my mom for christmas, but I want, (If they exist) one that melts the chocolate itself instead of having to fill it will already melted chocolate? Can anyone tell me if there are any like this, and if so where?

I know there is a product called "The Chocolate Shot Machine" and you add cocoa with milk and it melts it. It will pour your chocolate in anything you desire. Perfect for dipping or drinking. Check out the source link for more info on it. May be just what you're looking for.

People hate these things and I guess I don't see why. I've been to 2 weddings in the last year or so that had them. Yes, there are issues surrounding them, but if these are handled, they can be quite nice. The biggest one is that there must be an attendant at the fountain, whether it's someone she knows or someone she hires. It's not just for double dipping - it's also to keep some semblance of order. I'd guess maybe around 25-30 lbs of chocolate but I don't know about the size of the fountain. However, I also don't know why you have to buy it. There are tons of stores on ebay and amazon that ship internationally and it seems to me she'd just pick one out and have it delivered herself! I know she can get one for a lot less than $1000, especially if it's used.

I don't think there is a fondue fountain taht will pour out its own melted chocolate.
