Try this, it's really tasty:
Cook a big panful of pasta, any kind is fine. Separately, combine a tin of tomatoes, chopped onion, garlic, salt & pepper, and (if the kids like it) a sprinkling of chilli powder. Add a can of tuna. Drain pasta, serve with the sauce & tuna. This is gorgous stuff, I love it.

I live in the country and most of my meat is road kill. At this time of year there are a lot of Pheasants and the occasional deer. Best to carry a hammer in the back of the car in case a deer requires the last rites. Some urban gardens have squirrels and while these take a while to prepare, they do make excellent meals. A rabbit trap will catch squirrel if you do not have and air rifle.

We have seven children so I am cooking for nine people each night. I just made one of their favorites and it's quick and easy. (I don't know how many people you are cooking for but remember my meals are a lot bigger than the average family so you will have to adjust according to how many people there are to feed)
3 packages of smoked sausage, cut up into bite sized pieces.
Just fry them until they are nice and brown then add 4 cans of drained green beans and cook until the water has evaporated.
If I have a lot of time I make fried potatoes on the side (some of my children mix them with the sausage and green beans). If I am short on time I make instant mashed potatoes.
My family loves this and it is very filling and easy.
