well i loved and lost someone, but if i never loved him i would never know what a right big headed, self obsessed person he is, also his insensitivity would have never come to light and i would have never known if i never loved him, although on the other hand there is the school of thought that says if you never loved him you wouldn't have been hurt but then i say i would still be in love with a fairytale, so in some respects it is better to have loved that never to have loved at all, but it's miles better when u love but wake up in time before the axe falls.

I once saw a TV program where a 70 year old man said that he's greatest regret was never having loved someone.

I think that answers the question.

It depends, can you take rejection because if your willing to look for love you have to be able to take rejection. If you're emotionally unstable DON"T DO IT!!!! Seriously, it could end up pushing you over the edge and you might end up traumatised or something. But yeah personally it's totally worth it.

i agree because once u have loved once you will always love again there is someone out there for everyone so if your going through a rough time just grin and bear it the right person will come along when Ur least expecting it

I'm not sure about that.
If you never loved at all, how would it be better to have loved and lost if you never knew what you were missing?

the simple answer to this is, dont fall in love. just shut off all emotions towards the other sex, play the field, settle down, whatever. but as long as you dont fall in love, you wont lose anything. cept maybe your house, car, income, etc if you get a divorce.

It depends how you lost them

If i had been cheated on, and they left, then no.

If i lost him through death alone, then yes. Thats the only way you would know what love really means when they are no longer with you and they have left a void in your life.

xx

Definitely. Cause otherwise you've never experienced it and you're missing out. Sure it's painful and stuff (not like I know or anything) but overall TIS FAB!

It hurts when you can't have the loved one. If that's the case it's best not to know anything about it. Period.
