If President Bush's wants to find WMD's why doesn't he look in places like Panama in Central America rather than in Iraq as he might have more success ?

Apparently when the US soldiers were pulling out of the canal bases, rather than take their nerve gas, agent orange, sarin and mustard gas (from WW1 no less !!!) and all the other nasties they were storing there, they merely dug several holes and dumped it there (and off the coast), despite assurances that they would be disposed off properly and without leaving a dangerous legacy for future generations.

Now it seems that many of the munitions are unstable and leaking.

If President Bush is looking for WMD's should he not try looking first in places where the US dumped theirs ?

if the US wishes to use another country as a toilet, shouldn't they at least dispose of their pooh afterwards ?

Not just in Panama.

The USA has a history of leaving its "dirty washing" behind, even in places such as UK which is supposed to be an ALLY.

Look at the Holy Loch in Scotland. Former US submarine base in some of the most remote and scenic countryside in the world.

What did the US when it pulled out ?

It dumped all its contaminted sh*t in the local waters causing millions of dollars worth of damage.

No wonder US posters on this board are always asking "why does no one like the USA ?".

And in response to your question, "yes - the USA should clean up Panama if they caused the mess".

Just invite an Iranian delegation over and watch the Whitehouse panic !!!

Yes he did. He was the most liberal president we have ever had. Well before Obama that is. He had the most welfare, grew government etc. All of our current problems are due to policies that are not in the constitution. The only way to fix it before we have a big problem is to get back to it. We need to flush all programs that help any one person over another. For example, the military, police, education, and fire fighters benefit all of us the same. So they should all stay. The rest have to go. Maybe a small safety net to truly help people who lose everything. Not a payment system but an effective system that lifts them up, dust them off, and gets them back on feet. Our interest on debt is 25% of our income. That's at the best rating possible. And its only going up due to record deficits. The S&P changed outlook to negative. If they lower the bond rating, that interest will jump over night to about 62% of our income. At that point the failure of the government will be imminent. All systems would fail. The world will change as we know it. This is not scare tactics or partisanship. This is reality. The smart people are seeing it now. Hopefully the rest of the country doesn't wait to see it till its too late.

Is there any country who hasn't done some really awful things? I'm not justifying these activities, but really - we're no better than anyone else and this kind of thing goes on world-wide.
