No Ma'am, predatory types seek out those that look gullible, and naive. Danielle has a great point in regard to spirituality. Predatory types lack a sense of conscious, thus enabling them to continuously take advantage of others, free from guilt, much like a sociopath. Here's my take on this subject...
50% of the people are honest,
30% of the people are dishonest,
20% of the people are as honest, as you will let them be.
Like Mama said, "believe none of what you see, and half of what you hear". Mama was right!
Best Regards

Yes, they have. The other day, I got this fraudster email.... You know, the guy who is relatives with some General in Rowanda who left him with $100 Million US Dollars but he needs somoene in the US to launder it, so please give me your bank acct info? You know the guy, right?
Well, last week, his sister wrote me. Apparently, she found me "through the grace of the good lord Jesus Christ." While she doesnt have $100 Million nor any military experience, she was extremely Godly, quoting scripture and offering to split a paltry $5 Million with me - if only I assisted another one of God's children from being victimized by their theiving, atheistic family members....
Personally, after deleting it, I relished in the thoughts of how many really simple minded fundies that ARE going to fall for it.... Because it is true - nice, moral, loving people are often easy to get over on. Thats why I chose Atheism..... Im not half as gullible, but I can still be nice and loving to my fellow man.

Humans have always been predatory. In the 21st century we are becoming out of touch with true spirituality and too distracted by crowding, noise, constant activity, so much so that we're in danger of becoming reactionary beings with no thoughts of our own. Many of us don't really look within ourselves.

I've never seen it happen. I've seen people that THINK they're nice, loving, and moral become targets. But that's because they are judgemental of others, beneath everything else.
But truly nice people are rarely victimized. At least not for very long...

No. Nice loving, moral, push overs are easy targets. You can be firm and command respect while still retaining your nice, loving, moral behavior. No one can make you an emotional "victim". That is something that you allow them to do.

Actually nice loving moral people are very hard targets.
It is the ignorant self righteous buttheads that are easy.

Don't be deceived, though. If you startle that cute, cuddly kitten, he'll turn around, spring on you, and shred you head to toe. Being nice doesn't mean taking endless abuse. Even loving, moral people will fight back when necessary.
