I'm not afraid of dolls but clowns can be really scary looking. Just the way they paint their faces white, with the red hair and nose....it's just plain old scary. My friend is actually afriad of dolls. REALLY AFRAID!! One day last year in school, we were in Spanish and my teacher brought out this blue haired doll as a joke and we named it Celia (since her all fav singer is Celia Cruz)....Anyways, she let one of my other friends take Celia home (this was all as a joke..we were in 9th grade) and she brought it to lunch. We knew our friend had a phobia of dolls but we didn't know it was SO serious so my other friend snuck up behind her and shoved the doll in her face. SHE FREAKED OUT!! She jumped around, screamed on the TOP of her lungs, fell, and started CRYING!! crying!!!! this all happened in cafeteria so everyone shut up and started staring at her. My friend was sooo upset that she had done that. But I think it all ended up that someone took her away to the bathroom, the cafeteria was quiet forever and then my friend went and apologized. I never knew she was THAT afraid of dolls. We laugh at it now but it wasn't funny then.

Sorry for this being so long. Just a story I remebered when I read your question! :)

Fun Fact: The fear of long words = Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia (the longest phobia name there is) isn't that hilarious?? for some reason, I find it really funny! :)

Enjoy your day!
Happy Holidays!

No I'm not afraid of dolls or clowns. My mam collects porcelain dolls and I had a clown hanging on my bedroom wall for years.
Neither are creepy to me, but my sisters all hate my mam's dolls. The eyes follow you (they say.. )

Those pocelain dolls would unease me somewhat. Yes the eyes do follow you which release a feeling of sadness and despression as you stare back at them.
The Chucky doll however is a complete joke, really stupid. Barbie would kick his @$$.

I'd say clowns. They have freaky costumes and even freakier makeup. Dolls are pretty toys little kids play with.

Clowns, Clowns, Clowns!!!

I hate clowns!!! With a very violent, and very real hatred!!! I'm sorry if you're a clown and I'm sorry if you ever cross my path but blame Ronald MacDonald...!
He chased me until my friends found me cowering under a table, since then I have a very unfortunate reaction to Clowns...!

I apologise to any clown that's ever tried to 'entertain' me!!
Eeeewwww!!!

Clowns are very creepy. I had no problem with them as a child, but the older I get the weirder they seem to me.
