The Just of Islam: Through the ages, men have received divine
revelations from God by way of Men to deliver to mankind. These prophets came with the same message: Worship God alone and do good deeds to prepare for a Good Afterlife. The Quran was revealed completing, finalizing, and summarizing the succession of revelations through the ages. Up next, is Judgment Day.

I think you got it wrong even if you ask a atheist he will tell you don't kill, don't rape, don't still ,,,,,,,so and so on.that doesn't mean that the atheist read the Bible...coming to your point you say Islamic teaching are similar to Christianity ,you are absolutely wrong.....you believe as Christian ,Holy ghost ,holy father and holy son so when you worshipping you are not sure who you worshipping ,we muslims worship one God His name is Allah
read the following quote of the quran...........
بِـسْـمِ اللهِ الرَّحـْمـنِ الرَّحِـيـمِِ
In the Name of Allah The All Merciful, The Most Merciful.

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
1. Say: He, Allah, is one.

اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
2. Allah, the Ever-Enduring.

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
3. He bore not, nor was He born.

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
4. And neither was, to Him, a match (any) one.

We where told more than 1400yrs ago don't drink alchohol we don't drink,no gambling.....
that's what we follow

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came with the same message that every other messenger (including Jesus pbuh) came with and that is: There is one God, none is like him, none shares in his attriibutes, and none should be worshipped except him.

Yes, I study the Qur'an. You should, too. Get a copy of it, and also a copy of THE MEANING OF THE HOLY QUR'AN by Abdullah Yusef Ali. It will help you to understand.

The is not enough room to go into detail here.

Mohammed claimed to be a prophet, but he denied the essential teachings of the Bible. Mohammed denied that Jesus is God incarnate. Mohammed said that Jesus was only a prophet, even though Jesus himself claimed to be God and proved it by rising from the dead. Mohammed also denies the Trinity and that we are saved through faith in Jesus. www.equip.org
