I think he is only lieing to impress me, but i know more about him than he thinks i guess.

i've known a couple guys who do that to girls they like in an attempt to impress them. what they don't realize is they are setting you up for disappointment by doing that...
best thing to do is to call them on their lies...it will embarass them yes, but if he's cool, he'll come clean on why he's fibbing (i just want you to like me, etc. ) and hopefully stop. if not, don't bother...
personally, i don't thing lying to impress is a good way to anything, period...

Of course not. A relationship is based on trust and if he's just lying now to impress you, he'll probably lie to you later on also.

Believe me lies end up hurting so always tell the true. Don't get on a relationship were you will know trust will be far.

I couldn't trust somebody who is lieing to me. Maybe you can talk to him about that. If it's only to impress you, he wants you to like him. So maybe he could stop lieing.

I dated a liar. Lied about big things, lied when there was absolutely no reason to, just lied constantly. Don't waste your time.

if all he can do is tell lies trying to impress you, it tells a lot about his character. believe me you cannot live with a liar, I tried, not good.

Nope. You need to be friends first and friends need to be able to trust eachother. If you don't think you can trust him........oh well!!!
