get a wavy/curly look. i have straight, black hair. it curls nicely when i use a medium sized curling iron, then i use hairspray and curling gel, but of course it eventually falls and doesnt have that pretty look like it had when i first got it done. even if i get it done at the salon it eventually falls. so two things i'm asking; what can i do to not make it fall, and also how do i make the curls look more natural?

You should get a perm. Not a spiral one, just a loose curl one. When your hair is wet, just put some mousse in it and let it dry. It will hold its shape and look natural. If you don't want a perm then you should try to going to bed with rollers in your hair. Just put wet hair in the rollers, put some hairspray on them, and go to bed. When you wake up, your hair should be curly...this works for my sister anyway.

permanent that is the only think that works for me and i have the same problem
