Yeah, its taken from a really well known rhyme, called "Two dead boys" where everything said is meant to contradict to deliberately confuse.
They're really smart, funny and witty rhymes. Another well known one is called Ladies and Gentleman and the poem (which is from a book I have of them) goes like this:
Ladies and gentlemen, hoboes and tramps,
Cross-eyed mosquitoes and bow-legged ants,
I come before you to stand behind you,
To tell you something I know nothing about.
Next Thursday, which is Good Friday,
There will be a Mother's Day meeting for fathers only;
Admission is free, so pay at the door,
Pull up a seat and sit on the floor.
The topic to discuss...
The crime that has never been committed.
This has been used in relation to the poem "Two dead boys"
Hope this helped solve your confusion lol!

Right around between 2-4 am two zombies got up and started fighting back to back, they were probably friends or are faced with a big burden depending on who wins, and I have no clue how they shot each other with swords...

One bright day, in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other.
A deaf policeman heard the noise
And came to arrest the two dead boys.
If you don't believe this story is true,
Ask the blind man, he saw it too.

Actually its,
One fine day
In the middle of the night
2 dead boys got up to fight
back to back
they faced each other
Drew thier swords
And shot each other
The Deaf policeman heard the noise
He ran and saw the two dead boys
If you dont believe this lie is true
Ask the blind man he saw it too.
Heard it like 10-13 years ago
the version above must be the real* long version although I never heard that one.

Full version
One Fine Day in the Middle of the night"
One fine day in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight
Back to back they faced each other
Drew their swords and shot each other
One was blind and the other couldn't see
So they chose a dummy for a referee
A blind man went to see fair play
A dumb man went to shout "hooray!"
A paralysed donkey passing by
Kicked the blind man in the eye
Knocked him through a 9 inch wall
Into a dry ditch and drowned them all
A deaf policeman heard the noise
And came to arrest the 2 dead boys
If you don't believe this story's true
Ask the blind man, he saw it, too!

In the middle of the night two guys get up to fight each other and then I think they had a verbal argument because the tongue is a sword and shot someone with their words.

Sounds like what cowboys in the wild west would do to settle an argument. Whoever drew their gun first and shot their man down would be the winner. Except it sounds like they drew their guns and shot at the same time...apart from that I have no idea what it could mean

One fine day in the middle of the night,
Two dead men got up to fight,
A blind man came to see fair play,
A dumb (as in mute) man came to shout hooray,
Back to bak they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other.
that is fab! That'slike my childhood riddle! My dad used to tell me that ALL the time and it would always make me laugh!
It's really old. As in about 100 years old maybe more.

There's also...
I went to the circus tomorrow
I took a front seat at the back
I fell from the pitch to the gallery
And hurt the front of my back
