The prize is a ball of belly button fluff!

2006-11-27 09:46:02 · update #1

i pick with a piece of tissue because blowing my nose hurts my brain! but only do it in the bathroom, not in the lounge, kitchen, cinema or anywhere else. I was sat in the train station the other day and this bloke on the next bench was having a good old dig, and then put it straight into his mouth! urghhhhhh! that really made my stomach turn.

Women don't get fluff in their belly buttons because they generally wash more than men and so wash the fluff away.

Don't get me wrong, i'm a bloke and DO wash but don't scrub that well in all me holes. Therefore i get fluff.

Just done a test and me fluffs a bluey/grey colour....suppose i wear alot of bluey/grey clothes.

I've got a Q for you - do women pick their noses? I pick mine like a chimp but in 6 yrs of marriage i've never seen my wife pick hers - do you not get snot?

This question was answered on Brainiac on Sky One (UK).
It has to do with the fact that Blue sticks out more being darker and people tend to wear darker clothes i.e. blue denims or black trousers, it rubs against your body and if you have a hairy area by your belly then the static build up will attract the fluff and rest in the belly button.
One the programme the guy went out running wearing yellow and at the end he had yellow fluff.
If you live in UK watch this programme, i find it quite interesting

Ooo I know this! It's because men jiggle around more or something (sorry facts are a bit sketchy) and so the fluff from their trousers goes into their belly buttons. Because most of teh items we wear are blue, the fluff is blue. If you wore all yellow, you would get yellow fluff.
I think.

Ah...this is an age old question. I have a theory, though. See, most men have a line of hair that extends from the stomach to below the belt line that acts as a "catching" device not unlike a Venus Flytrap. Though I have never seen a woman with this hair unshaven I'm sure they exist somewhere...

I continuously idea it change into because a large style of human beings positioned on denims - blue denim = blue fibres. also maximum women individuals positioned on hipsters lately so the denims are not over the navel and hence the fluff doesnt get in there - thats my idea besides.

It may be because they tend to wear belts and/or shirts, which brings clothes more into contact with ther (sometimes) big bellies?
As for the colour..it's a bit gross.. but I suspect dirt may make it seem a dark colour?
Me of course.. don't suffer ;-)

its just lint from clothing, men tend to have more hair around the belly button, and this traps the lint. the blue color is just from the dye in the cloth. Even black clothes will have a bluish colored lint.
