which is better windows or apple?

Depends on what you want to use it for. If graphic design or music is your main reason for getting a computer then a Macintosh would be a good choice. But if you need compatibility with the broad range or software in the market, a PC running would be the better choice. If you a programmer, forget Macintosh OSX and Windows and get Linux :-)

There is not argument to make for Windows unless your corporation makes you use it. There are more Windows computers out there and thus more games and such, but Macs are clearly superior in nearly every way. The new Microsoft Vista will catch up a bit to Apple, but even that will not make them anywhere near equal.

Mac OS X is more stable, less prone to virus, more elegant, easier to use, and just plain cooler.

you just had to open this can of worms....PC (windows) is better for most people and apple (Mac) is better for....um....I cant think of any reason why someone would want a mac...maybe the fact that its hard to get a virus on a mac but geez, there are tons of antivirus programs ot there and if someone is that much of a doorknob they shouldnt have a computer of any kind.

while macs may be safer in regards to virus's there are still exploits in it, recent patches etc.. released so neither is perfect.
there are some compatibility issues with macs on somethings so i've heard but thats a minor thing.

apple has less viruses and less problems because less people use it... less people know how, less compatible, less uses for it... unless you want a $2500 paperweight or a door holder... get windows. get a PC.
