I would stop and give my name and phone number to the person that was the victim, many times we think something is clear as a bell but, it is not and many people will try anything these days to get out of trouble. Injuries that show up later are real and in some cases the person in the vehicle has actually turned around and sued the pedestrian for damaging their car.

Hello How are you copeing emotionally ? Please talk Through this , do not bottle it up anyone Negative towards the Urgent Help you have Offered & given this injured person should have a look at them selves & what they would do in the same situation, I must say a HUGE thank you to you & your Husband for stopping and helping this injured rider, myself being a Female motorcycle rider,i am always appaled at how many people just drive by an accident it saddens me that Adults have such a fear of getting involved,Please know that this injured rider will forever be Grateful to you for stopping and helping him, Please do not let your families attitude sway you from helping someone again, you have shown Courage and True Consideration and compassion of others to your children, they will see and learn so much from you both through your act of kindness, that will forever stay with them knowing how you cared for another let alone a stranger throughout a very serious situation, Many dont realise that a 1 vehicle accident effects up to 100 people, 1 st Family ,2 nd extended family ,3 rd friends I wish Everyone Could be as Careing as you were , I am Proud of you Both ,Again i Thank You. Regard's Joanne (Melbourne Victoria Australia )

You could go home and at least call the police and tell them you were a witness, if more witnesses are needed. If I saw others rushing out to help- I think I would just pray for that person and that situation and go on...but if only a couple people ran over, I think I would stop and go over too. Definately let someone know you saw what happened though.

I would help. I came upon a stalled car in the middle of the road a few months ago. It was an old man and his wife. I helped push his car to the side of the road. He wouldn't leave his car so I could take him home. He (reluctantly) let me take his wife home (their home) 20 mile out of my way so she could get his brother to help him.
I'm not a mechanic, neither had cell phones. I am disabled and that was the best I could do. I was on my way to church.

wow. thats crazy dude. i would probaby be like you. if a person gets hurt, i dont think he wants 40000 people around him helping him. a few will do. if no1 was around definately. i was driving down this hill the other day, going about 35-40 down it and this biker was going down infront ofme, faster then i was, and then his wheel wobbled and he crashed hardcore. just a kid too. i pulled over and went to help, found out that the car infront of me was his parents and they took care of it. but man it was crazy to see.
