I went to the dentist today and I still can't feel anything. I just want to eat but my left side of my mouth is too numb.

Okay - I only had 2 fillings done. So there is no scaring. And sorry chica- I don't mess with stuped drugs.

You just have to wait for the anesthesia to wear off--sometimes it takes a few hours. If the numbness persists after 24 hours go see your dentist again and tell he/she about the problem. Good luck :)

It's not a good idea to mess with it!! I suggest you try to eat some fluid/soft food for now. It takes up to 12 hours for it to wear off. Be a bit patient and you'll feel a lot better ;-) (If you mess with the scar now it might do more damage than good)

You have to just let it wear off. Tomorrow it should be better. Eat with the other side.
