The earth has recycled air by photosynthesis but there is another side of this this the wood ,plants when it exchange CO2 for oxygen the other part is when the plants die the rivers wash it all down to the delta where it decomposes and becomes oil, gas, and if long enough the oil will change to coal. Mother nature set this up and have recycled it several million times.

Water can't be destroyed. It can be polluted, but it IS reusable. You can actually drink pee. I'd not reccomend it unless you had to,(Bleargh!) but it is safe! When you flush the toilet in a modernised country, it goes to a waste water treatment works. The water is filtered for large impurities (diapers, tampons, paper etc), then passed through beds of micriorganisms that eat the impurities in the water. After careful checks, the water is safe to re-enter the main water supply, a river or a lake. All the water you drink could, at some point, have passed through a dinosaur, or even your favourite historical figure! It just keeps going round!
