Comcast Cable has just announced a rate increase.

Yes, big time. I also feel that we as cable consumers should be able to pick the channels we want and pay like a dollar per channel. C'mon, how many of us out there watch all 70 channels? I NEVER watch certain ones, and find them a waste of money.

Is the rate increase effective to all of their customers or is that a local thing? But, to answer your question, "YES"! I am also a Comcast customer and have noticed that all 3 years I've used them, their rate has increased without improving the service I'm paying for. I pay more than $50 just for basic cable channels. It's ridiculous.

Yes they are getting too expensive. They quoted me one price and when I got the bill it was higher. I called and to justify it they said since Comcast switched to Time Warner that we have to basically deal with the increase

It's always been too expensive. My lifestyle has changed so I can afford to have cable now...but even having the money I can't justify the amount of money they want. It's outrageous! And for what??

Yes I do, and I also have Comcast, Silver Package, and i am paying $111.00 per month for it too.

Please start a consumer revolt. One of us has to start a website where we can get names, addresses, phone numbers and signatures so that we have power to DEMAND that they lower the rates. It's a monopoly and Congress isn't doing anything about it. Thank you so much for your question.
