Cranberry supplements daily will help with a lot of water. Taking in the recommended 64 oz of water only replenishes what is lost throughout the day and you expel 1500 ml per day, so you need more than that. Taking a cranberry supplement daily prevents bacteria from sticking to the urethral walls and the water helps flush it out. Cranberry juice cocktails are not the same as they contain sugar and can actually irritate it. If you don't like taking pills and the juice is too strong, I dilute it with water since you should be drinking it anyway.
I used to get lots of UTI's and thats what works for me.

Cranberry juice and tablets. They contain compounds that disrupt the interaction between the bacteria causing UTI and the urinary tract. Since the first step of infection establishment is attachment, if the bacteria cannot attach to and interact with the urinary tract, infection cannot take place.
but of course there are many bacteria that can cause UTI
Cranberry juice etc only help to prevent but not cure. once infection is established, you need to see a doctor.

cranberry is very good for the prevention of UTI, you can drink cranberry juice or capsules and tablets are available. You need to drink lots of water, sometimes you can flush it out. If your symptoms persist you really need to go to the doctor and get some antibiotics.
