Worrying is a very natural thing to do. However, my advice is pray, read the bible and look for answer to your prayers, although it may be not what you expect or want. You may find it helpful to start a prayer diary and write down what you have prayed for. Over time look back at your prayer diary and you will see how God has answered prayer and your trust in him will grow.
Read Matthew 6 v25-34, it instructs us not to worry about anything in life because God is in control and looks after his children.

Think about it. When you worry it is because you are anticipating not getting some desired result. I'm not going to sound like a preacher here because I am the worst of worriers. But I've had a lot of experience at worrying and I've analyzed it up and down. We worry when we think things are not going to go our way, or that there is going to be some pleasure or comfort taken away from us. That's why I think worry is so bad. Because in order to grow, there will be loss, dissappointment and setbacks in life. It is easy to say that you are optimistic when things are going your way, but are you a survivor?

Man I am still working on this one. I always tell myself this. Ok, I am breathing and God has taken care of me up until this point. I think about all the blessings in my life and start thanking God for all the good things I can think of that he has done for me. I pray and then TRY to relax. Worry is a big thing to me, so this is just what I do. I pray you find that thing that helps you, cause worry isn't good.

The scriptures (which He wrote) say "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet". This comes from ancient tradition where people wore lamps around their ankles. There was only sufficient light to see a short distance. This teaches us that we have to be in His Word on a consistent basis. One portion of scripture which is often overlooked by even good Christians is the Proverbs. They are unique in that there are 31 of them, which corresponds to approximately the number of days in the month. Each chapter contains nuggets of wisdom for your edification. Additionally, there is nothing within the realm of mankind which is not in someway portrayed in the scriptures. The Holy Spirit will also guide you along with prayer and fellowship with other believers.

Everyone worries sometimes, but I think that Jesus talks about not worrying and trusting God in either Matthew 6 or 5. First of all, we need to make sure that we have a relationship with God(If you don't already). The way to have a relationship with God is: 1. Realize that you are a sinner and need forgiveness and are separated from God. 2. Repent of your sins by both confessing them to God and turning away from your sins to Jesus. 3. Recieve Jesus as Lord and Savior, trusting Him to save you by His grace alone, forgive you for all of your sins, make you born again and to enter your heart and sit on the throne of your life as your Lord. Then one you have sincerely put your faith in Jesus you can know that you are saved and that He is Lord of your life. Then you can pray to God and He will listen to your prayers and He loves you very very much and we know that God is always trustworthy and faithful because He has proved it over and over again all throughout history(read about His faithfulness in the Bible). God is Holy so He cannot be unfaithful. God may not take away all of our problems in life, but He will give us peace and strength in the midst of our troubles. God has reasons for allowing us to go through tribulationion. God loves us and will take care of us if we trust Him. www.equip.org

Trust comes out of relationship. The more you get to know God the more you will trust Him.There are many examples in Scripture of God delivering people from seemingly impossible situations. With God nothing is impossible.

Every time the worry (thought) pops into your head...take the thought and remind it that you are trusting God for the situation. It won't always be easy and you may have to do it several times to finally convince yourself to trust! I've been there and believe me, God understands our weakness...that is when He is strong!

Pray is first. Then, get your MIND off of the problem and start BELIEVING God hears your prayer and will take care of you and the problem.Sometimes we must go thru a trial just to show God we trust and believe in Him. Each time you go thru another problem, you get stronger, which is what God wants.

I like to read from the Psalms -- David had a lot of trying times and worries as well -- one I always remember to look up is Ps. 91 -- just like calling "911" for help
