According to the bible (Mathew 11:11), Jesus (born of a woman) said: "Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist."

Clearly, Jesus considered John to be his superior and did not consider himself to be the messiah.

I bet you a dinari that He knew the difference between using the word "them" and "us".... which would have included Himself.

Isn't that crystal clear enough for you?

Wanna bet??

Peace be with you...

Out of context Jesus is saying that John the Baptize is the greatest prophet ever lived(there goes even greater than Mohamed)Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 10This is the one about whom it is written:
" 'I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way before you.'[c] 11I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. 13For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. 14And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. 15He who has ears, let him hear.

YOur taking that verse out of context. Jesus meant regular humans and John had both a human father and mother, whereas Jesus himself was born from Holy spirit to Mary. John himself said at Matthew 3; 11 " I , for my part, baptize you with water because of your repentance, but the one coming after me is stronger than i am.; whose sandals i am unfit to take off. That one will baptize you people with holy spirit and fire.

You seem to have left off the next part of the verse: "notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he". Later in Matthew he says: "But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." Jesus was considered by his contemporaries as the least in the kingdom of heaven. Jesus was and is the servant of all.

Jesus, the man, who was so until he reached his christed conciousness, (universal conciousness) would not have said that anyone thing, man or beast was any less or any greater than the other. However, it is possible that he said this, prior to being in his Christed conciousness. Once in God conciousness, it is obvious that superior and inferior is but an illusion.
