I stand right beside her and he only talks to her and not me, even though we agreed to be friends before we even started dating. It's been 6 months since we broke up. Why wont he talk to me? My best friend has told me plenty of times that she would never date my ex because she says that he is not that cute, but she already has a boyfriend. Whats the deal with my ex flirting with my best friend?

The same thing happened to me. He's just trying to get you jealous because he knows u will. Girls do tht and obviously he knows tht. I broke up with him and he wanted me back and asked me out again. Since then we've been going out. Don't worry it's a guy thing and i was wondering too why he was doing tht and he told my friend it was just because he was jealous

Do you really need to ask? He's trying to get one foot in the door. All guys do that. It doesn't matter if your best friend thinks he's cute or not. It's not on her. It's on him. He doesn't want to talk to you because he's interested in your friend. There have been times when I was more interested in my girlfriend's friend then my GF herself. These feelings I have for her friends either passes or grows. It's human nature.

You never know hun, he could be trying to make you jealous in hopes that youll start talking to him. OR he could really just like her. Theres no way to tell what a guy is thinking. He also might be afraid of you. Afraid as in, has no idea what to say.

1. He's trying to make you jealous
and/or
2. He has the hots for your best friend.

However, flirting is a 2 way street. You can't flirt with a dead end. So what is she doing to encourage him?

It sounds like your ex is trying to make you jealous! Exspecially if you ended the relationship, it sounds like he's still sentitive and wants revenage.

He is just doing it to piss you off, and it is working. And that whole friends thing usually never works.
