I always liked hearing the way Christians sang in the church, even when I was younger, although I couldn't understand what was being sang, I loved hearing the gospels.

What exactly do you sing?

Peace and Love,

We sing the Benedictus at Mattins

We sing The Magnificat

And we sing the Nunc Dimittus

(Both are from the Gospels and are sung at every Vespers)

And we chant the Gospel Lesson at a Solemn High Mass.

Yes....it's beautiful

There are many praise and worship songs that have been taken from scripture and made into songs....so I am not sure exactly what you are asking. I know a lot of scriptural songs- and I too enjoy singing them!

"I waited, for the Lord on High, I waited and he heard my cry!" -That is a song and it is from this verse:

Psalm 40:1
[ For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. ] I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.

-But there are SO many songs....Good ones!!
