I am looking for a female pomeranian to "hook up" with my male pomeranian. Are there any ladies available in the Little Rock, AR area for my male pom? He's one-year-old and AKC registered.

Hummm for a boy whos biggest selling point is AKC registered the situation is rather like the country song - went to Harvard, majored in premed, only stayed for one semester ----- YOUR OUT. You need the degree- er titles, AND the health tests. Otherwise the owners of the girls are in the situation of having a littler by your boy or a major famous show dog - and guess whos pups will be 5x easier to find homes for? Given the chance of travling down the block for AKC registered for free or a couple hundred miles for couple hundred dollers for a top name stud - I will head for the car keys & the wallet every time.

the only reason to ever breed a dog is if you think that the pupies will be not only better than either parent, but better than any of the entire breed. The entire point of dog breeding is to improve the breed. anything else is just overpopulation. You can't honestly think that your pet and some random female are going to have puppies that are better than a pomeranian who has come in best of breed/opposite and perhaps even best of group (do you even know what that is?) along with UDX or OTCh and perhaps is a therapy dog besides. Get your dog neutered immediately.

Why would you do this? Dont you have better things to do than pimp your dog. There are already too many Poms in the world!

I suggest you do the research on breeding and making sure your Pom is close to breed "type". Make sure you tell people at stud to approved Bitches ONLY. You don't want any sicknesss or anything going into pups that your dog sired.
