I would said yes it is cheat-ting. He should not have any reason to be texting any girl dirty when he has a beautiful women by his side. You ask if you should let him go or as you put it kick him to the curb. I would say yes if it was me, but I do not want to break up a couple that I don't know. But I will leave you with this idea. If he was willing to do in just a text form what makes you think he is not doing in person, and once a cheater always a cheater.

Well i could tell you how to confront him but your a female and I already know how you will end out doing it.You'll give him the evil eye like your cuttin right through him with it.Then you'll raise your voice and start shouting he will either be silent and let you holler at him or a type of fight or flight responds where he will instantly yell back then you'll say things like 'fine then I'll just take your laptop then' and then he'll say things like 'we'll you can just forget the rent cuz I'm moving out'and call you names and then you'll say, 'WHAT did you say to me boy' and I doubt either will handle it without fighting. Just use a low calm voice he will be upset cuz he got caught.Don't give him your womanly evil eye your mom taught you how to use as a weapon that women typically have and just have an adult conversation. If he isn't cheating than be glad if he is then get rid of him.Don't throw his stuff outside over night because you might get charged for that I saw it on Judge Mathis once

Depends on what you consider "dirty texting" but if he's texting about sexual things he'd like to do with them...then yes, it is a form of cheating.
What you "should" do is up to you. Not knowing y'alls relationship it's tough for anyone on the outside to say how it should be handled, how serious the offense was, if it's been ongoing, if there are other issues to consider, etc.

I believe cheating involves physical contact; not to say that is not happening but you need to know more before you confront him.
1) Is it a girl he knows?
2) Is she local?
3) Is he texting others girls?
4) How far does he go with these communications; is he just using it for a turn on?
5) Is he ignoring you; has anything in your relationship changed?
And...
6) What do YOU want?

If you really love him and think that he'll change then give him a chance. He might of been doing it because he thought it was funny to see what they said. As long as he didn't go out and meet them then it's not that bad their probably some fat, lonely girls anyway.

sounds like you guys need to talk about this for a bit. Tho this isn't cheating per say, it is a close relative. Hopefully you can find out why he feels the need to do this, and maybe he can understand why this makes you feel bad, and you can grow from there.

It is no ones decision but yours....can you still trust him is the question you need to ask yourself because if you know you can't and you still stay with him, then it will never work out. I hope things turn out for the best! Good Luck!!

Of course it's cheating. Dump him and move on. Find someone else that deserves you!

If you truly love him, let him explain and/or give him another chance. If this has happened before, you probably know what to do.
