It definitly means something... it might not be real as such but I think that somehow our souls or minds drift away when we are sleeping and we see things that might be become real or might have been real in the past. Maybe some kind of destiny lies in this place that you dream of. Maybe it's related to something at your old school, or a person that you knew there.

don't ever forget your dreams because the moment you do, they forget you too.

I have had dreams of people and places ive never been or seen before and I cant explain it. But ill never forget them so that when my destiny arrives, I won't pass it by.

"Dreams are like stars...you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.”

In the words of Cinderella a dream is a wish your heart makes when your fast asleep
which means that if you are dreaming about a place you never been it is either a place you want to visit like your old school a place you wish you can return to because of something that happened there good bad or other wise

I can't really answer your question but I can share with you my experiences with dreams...My dreams are signals from my subconscious mind that worn me or advise me on my next move in life. I have had dreams with dead people in them that are talking to me. I believe that is just one way that people contact you to say goodbye.
Pay more attention to what you dream and relate what you feel when your old school comes up. Try to feel what you dream, you will eventually be able to learn from your dreams or maybe even trust them enough for guidance throughout the day. Good Luck on discovering what your subconscious is trying to relate to you.

Some dreams can be in part literal. Some are just a fantasy. Your school could be from missing someone or thing from it. The other place could be longing for escape.

Some of my dreams have come true so yes they sometimes do come true because they usually have something to do about things you have done anyways in the past and things you will eventually do in the future. Just hope its not the nightmares that will come true.

I believe when we are in a relaxed state of consciouness or sleep we are open to a different plane of reality. some people call them dreams but I think that they are often premonitions or Deja Vu. I have had 1 or 2 myself but because of the nature of what they were ( and they did come true) I decided to make a conscious effort to not remember my "dreams" anymore...One of them involved being smothered in the sand by a friend and it happened...scared the crap out of me.

If you work hard to pursue your dream then it will come true. You should never let anyone interfere with that and you should never put your dreams aside unless circumstances advise that.
