Judaism because that was the first main stream religion, and Jesus lived ion a populated area of Jews. He was the first one to start Christianity, and that's why the old testament in the bible is the same w/ Jews and Christians because it was based off Abraham and then Jesus expanded the first section w/ his new teachings of love and kindness and more information on how to be a better child of GOD-which created Christianity.

All the pagan religions influenced Christianity. Christmas is just a copy of the ancient Roman Feast of Saturn, Saturnalia, The birth pf the unconquered sun. Mithrasism and other roman, Egyptian, and Greek pagan influences. December 25 was celebrating the birth of the unconquered sun way before Christ was born.

In a nutshell, many religions and traditions have affected Christianity. The 'foundation' of Christianity is based off of Judaisism. The majority of Christian holidays are based off ones from Greek, Roman, Anglo (druidic), and other pagan days of celebration. For example, Christmas is scheduled around the Winter Solstice, which was a day of celebration in many pagan cultures. The reason early Christians incorporated these holidays and other traditions was to appeal to non-believers to get them to convert.

From what I understand, Christianity pretty much came from Judaism: the massive dividing factor being Jesus. Basically, the Jews who believed Jesus was indeed the Son of God were our first Christians, and from that, a whole new set of beliefs (particularly surrounding Jesus' life, his actions, the people he interacted with, God's role in all of it) and traditions to accomodate these beliefs were formed.

With the exception of the whole "jesus is/is not the messiah" thing, judiasm and christianity are basically the same. The entire old testiment comes from Jewish teachings.

I don't get the question. Christians are people that follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. There are a lot of religions that think they are christians.

Judaism. If it wasn't for the Judaism, we wouldn't have Christianity.

Almost all of them, I guess.
Jesus is a direct copy of Mithras, but plagiarism is never named as a sin in the Bible.
