I have symptoms of allergies: red eyes, dark circles under eyes, ear popping, etc. At one point I never cleaned my shower stall for awhile and soap residue accummulated for a long time on the walls. Is it possible I became allergic to soap? Is there a non-allergic soap I can use?

Absolutely it is. It's a common allergy. You need to find a soap with as little added to it as possible, no dyes, perfumes, etc. Sometimes baby soap is milder. I use plain old Ivory soap the one with no dyes or fragrance. Another soap good for people sensitive to allergy is nuetragena. It's yellow. They also have a really good shampoo as that can also be a culprit. You want the clear one. I hope you can find one that suits you. If your symptoms continue see a allergist.

Another common allergy is laundry soap.

Yes there is hypoallergenic soap. Have you ever noticed that clear brown or amber soap at the dr.'s office? That's some right there.
